ThrillRoute ("we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy details how data is treated when you utilize the ThrillRoute mobile application.

1. Information Collection and Storage

ThrillRoute operates using local-first data architecture:

• Personal Identifiable Information (PII): No account registration, email verification, name, or phone number is collected, requested, or stored on external servers.
• Itinerary & Trip Data: All itineraries, custom park selections, schedule notes, and coaster calculations remain solely within an isolated SQLite database on your local device.
• Location Information: The App does not monitor, record, access, or log your GPS position.

2. Third-Party Services and Network Usage

The App establishes network connections solely to provide map imagery and highway route lines:

• OpenStreetMap (OSM): Geographic map tiles are loaded via public servers, transmitting standard network delivery metadata (such as IP address and User-Agent) necessary to fetch visual map assets.
• Open Source Routing Machine (OSRM): Highway route lines are requested on-demand via public OSRM APIs between destination coordinates. No personal or device identifiers are tied to these routing requests.

We do not transmit, sell, or rent your IP address or geographic queries to advertising networks or data brokers.

3. Advertising and Analytics

ThrillRoute contains zero third-party advertising frameworks, tracking scripts, or analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or Meta Pixel).

4. Children’s Privacy

Because ThrillRoute does not request accounts, profile setups, or personal identifiable data, the App does not intentionally or inadvertently retain personal information from children under 13 years of age (or under 16 where applicable by regional law).

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All data generated within ThrillRoute is kept on your device storage:

• Individual trips can be removed inside the App's "Trips" management modal at any time.
• Clearing local storage through your operating system settings or deleting the App permanently destroys all local database records.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically revise this Privacy Policy to accommodate new features or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be reflected directly on this webpage alongside an updated revision date.
